An original textile embroidery built up with layers of silk, chiffon and silk paper.
The sea pinks are a common wild flower, seen at Spring Time, on English cliff tops. The flower heads are manipulated and held in place with machine embroidery. Stalks hang free from the lower edge. Rolling waves and turning tides are always a draw on a coastal walk.
